Interesting Topics

We just concluded an election of as we call it 'The United States" Over 50+ States and territories voting for a change in government.

What is interesting is the sheer size in terms of landmass of the nation and the methods put in place to get this task accomplished.

And we look at other parts of the world, and only 2 countries are of comparable size, Russia & Australia. But Russia seems even bigger.

So it is interesting how people view political change, as very hard, or very easy (as in the case of USA). The USA does have a system in place that does not fear new faces on the political scene, not fear that the country won't be run properly, etc etc. All legitimate concerns btw, but the founding fathers took care of it by creating tools like the Electoral College, etc.

And that is quite fascinating.

The 2nd topic that was an extension of yesterday's post on American Equity was - (and this topic of political systems is found on the internet quite readily)

The system in China is -

High Equity for all

A massive ruling Politburo

Less freedoms for intellectuals

Less freedoms for people

Just something to ponder on...
